Philosophy

We believe that children learn through play. All children are equal and each of them is an individual. We provide a warm and safe environment which encourages children to be creative, independent and confident. Our curriculum provides Montessori lessons, age-appropriate, play-based learning activities. They involve music and movement, art, dramatic play, outside play, sensorial activities, songs and stories. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and supportive place for children to develop their physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills.

Guidance and Discipline

Our guidance techniques include redirection and positive reinforcement; to assist children with their daily routines and challenges. Also, the staff in the centre continuously model appropriate behavior and show each child the highest level of respect. Staff will communicate with parents frequently so that discipline techniques can be consistent with those practiced in the home. Licensing regulations forbid the use of physical, emotional or psychological punishment for any child while in care.
